Fill a basket with often overlooked helpful items to get mom and dad through that first week or two. Include a 15-minute dinner “recipe" with freeze dried ingredients so just add water and bake. Food, snacks, sleep mask, breastfeeding accessories like cooling pads, nipple pads, or milk storage bags. If bottle feeding (always check), bottle brushes, and extra nipples.
